The department is located on the ground floor of the hospital. Patients have convenient parking that leads to the door of the department. An outreach clinic is also located in Tekamah at the MCH Cottonwood Clinic and services are provided through Burt/Washington Home Health, a part of the MCH Health System.

Staff offers a broad spectrum of services including home safety evaluations, wound care, employment screenings, spinal assessments, foot orthotics, splinting for preventive and post-surgical patients, hand and upper extremity rehab, sports medicine, treatment for a variety of orthopedic muscular-skeletal injuries or pain and dysfunction syndromes, and much more. Staff also works with diabetics in establishing an exercise program that can assist with regulating their diabetes.

A popular program sponsored by the department is a Senior Strength Training program, offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00
