FoundationMission Statement

The mission of MCH Foundation is to secure and serve as a steward of charitable gifts and bequests that further the mission of Memorial Community Hospital.

The MCH Foundation, a not-for-profit organization, was established in 2000 for the purpose of furthering the work of Memorial Community Hospital & Health System. Governed by a local board of directors, the MCH Foundation seeks and accepts charitable contributions from individuals, businesses and corporations, and other foundations to assist the hospital in providing excellent healthcare to the communities we serve.

As we fulfill our mission of caring for the community, the caring shown to us in return in the form of philanthropic support is appreciated. The MCH Foundation employs the utmost care in administration and distribution of funds.
It is organized exclusively for charitable purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. For more information about the MCH Foundation, please contact us at (402) 426-1464 or e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Your contribution is eligible as an income tax charitable deduction to the extent allowed by law. Here are some ways you can help.

    • Gifts of Cash: Cash gifts, the most common form of giving, are as easy as writing a check.
    • Credit Card Gift: Another convenient way to make a gift to the MCH Foundation is by a credit card donation.
    • Gifts of Appreciated Securities: Giving appreciated stocks and bonds is an excellent way to support the hospital's programs.
    • Gifts of Real Estate: This is another way to contribute as an income tax charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the property and elimination of capital gains tax on your profit.

Other giving opportunities include:

    • Charitable Gift Annuities
    • Charitable Remainder Trusts
    • Bequests
    • Life estate
    • Life Insurance Gifts

Making a gift in honor of a family member, friend or colleague can be an ideal remembrance on almost any occasion. The gift symbolizes a tribute to the individual for which it is given. Simply let us know who you would like to honor, and we'll send that individual a card acknowledging your gift in his/her honor.

The loss of a loved one or valued associate often leads to the desire for a living memorial. Gifts may be made in their remembrance. When gifts in memory of an individual are received, a card will be sent to the family of the deceased notifying them of the gift.
